Photo One: Finishing the Class

Items to turn in: Images used should be shot for the designated assignment or after.

1) Film Log - listing all rolls you shot

2) Contact sheets for every roll shot this semester (part of effort grade).

3) SixPortfolio Images: Must be spot-toned, no spots or water marks

Four Full size prints: dry mounted on white or off white 11X14 board with one window mat.
You already did a window mat for the directional light assignment, you may need to re-do it better.
You can put any one of these 4 images in the window mat.
A) Directional Light
B) People Photograph
C) Experimental
D) Your choice (can be from inspired by assignment)

One half sheet image, no mounting required
E) Depth of Field: Deep or shallow DOF
F) Motion: Freeze or blur motion

For Depth of Field and Motion, the image should be a strong image on its own
but noticeably stronger because of the depth of field or motion.

Your images should be your best work and clearly demonstrate the photographic attribute of the assignment.
This attribute (directional light, motion etc...) should be immediately recognizable in the image.
These prints will be evaluated on their:
Technical properties: focus, exposure, contrast, mounting, spotting
Aesthetic qualities: content, composition, framing, point of view
Assignment attribute

Remember to label all work. You will be marked off if not properly identified.
Your name on everything
Prints additionally need roll #, frame # and category (Directional Light, People etc...)
Label the experimental print with the process used to create it.

During our final examination period you are required to come to the lab and perform a minor clean-up task.
These jobs will be posted and require your signature when you complete the task.
