Photo One: Finishing the Class
Items to turn in: Images used should be shot for the designated assignment or after.
1) Film Log - listing all rolls you shot
2) Contact sheets for every roll shot this semester (part of effort grade).

SixPortfolio Images: Must be spot-toned, no spots or water marks
Four
Full size prints: dry mounted on white or off white 11X14
board with one window mat.
You
already did a window mat for the directional light assignment, you may need to
re-do it better.
You can put any one of these 4 images in the window mat.

People Photograph
C) Experimental
D)
Your choice (can be from inspired by assignment)
One half sheet
image, no mounting required

Depth of Field: Deep or shallow DOF
F)
Motion: Freeze or blur motion
For
Depth of Field and Motion, the image should be a strong image on
its own
but noticeably stronger because of the depth of field or motion.
Your
images should be your best work and clearly demonstrate the photographic attribute
of the assignment.
This attribute (directional light, motion etc...) should
be immediately recognizable in the image.
These prints will be evaluated
on their:
Technical properties: focus, exposure, contrast,
mounting, spotting
Aesthetic qualities: content, composition,
framing, point of view

Remember
to label all work. You will be marked off if not properly identified.
Your name on everything
Prints additionally need roll #, frame # and category
(Directional Light, People etc...)
Label the experimental print with the process
used to create it.
During
our final examination period you are required to come to the lab and perform a
minor clean-up task.
These jobs will be posted and require your signature when
you complete the task.
